Join We Colour People (WCP) as they reflect on the process of their Archival Residency at Centre 42!

Hear from Euginia Tan, documenting writer, and Lewin Bernard and So Jo Huang, co-founders of WCP. Through conversations and interviews with past practitioners involved with WCP, they have put together an archival package for the collective, and will contemplate the significance of such a chapter for practitioners.

Find out the insights and new perspectives they have learned about their artistic practice through their archival journey!

The sharing will cover three core outputs of the residency:

  • Interviews with past practitioners involved with WCP (Albert Wileo, Rei Poh, Yazid Jalil)
  • A podcast recording featuring Euginia, Lewin, Jo, and Centre 42's Documentation Executive Adelyn Tan
  • An e-publication compiling some of WCP's past scripts, script analysis, creation material, and current reflections

Joanne and Lewin will elaborate on WCP's context, work vision and their members' various artistic backgrounds. Euginia will be providing perspectives on enabling and creating an archival journey with and for artists, with input from Adelyn.
