The Big Book Launch
The Big Book Launch celebrates the release of accomplished Singaporean playwright, Zulfadli Rashid's brand new book, Kolong.
Join us for the book launch of our Writer-in-Residence, Zulfadli Rashid’s new anthology of plays! As a renowned playwright, Zulfadli Rashid has earned a reputation for creating compelling and thought-provoking works that challenge the status quo. Kolong gathers five of his plays - some whimsical, some heartbreaking - Hero (2009), Kancil (2015), Semeja (2017), Penunggu (2018) and Balik (2020).
Join us at The Big Book Launch for an evening of readings of select excerpts from Kolong, a panel discussion, and an exclusive pre-launch sale of the book, signed by the author himself. The readings will be performed by Irsyad Dawood and Siti Hajar Abdul Gani. The panel discussion will involve Zulfadli Rashid, Nabilah Said and Fezhah Maznan.

Book sales for the night! Kolong is published by Moka Mocha Ink. Co-founder Ridhwan Saidi sold the anthology of plays alongside limited copies of his novel Brazil.
