Directory of Dramaturgs

As a dramaturg, I'm keen to support explorations of how text can work in tandem with other art forms (e.g. dance/movement, music, visual art, film). I can also support in thinking through how to set up care infrastructures around developing new writing with individuals and groups that are on the margins and/or that focuses on more sensitive or controversial issues.

Experienced playwright and educator who believes playwrights need support and community to develop their writing practice.

I have experience developing new writing for young audiences, musicals and mainstage plays. I pay close attention to technical craft (e.g. structure, style, characters, dialogue). I also ask a lot of questions about the writer's intentions and reflect where their choices align with or veer away from those intentions.

Lucas Ho works primarily as a playwright, but also has experience as a director and dramaturg as well.
