When she gets accepted to a mission to Mars, a woman must choose whether to stay or to leave.
How do you go when there is so much to keep you behind? To Mars, With Love is a love letter to all those who have had to make the difficult decision to leave what they love in pursuit of what they want.
To Mars, With Love was first written for Playwright’s Cove 2022 over a period of 7 months from April to November 2022, under the guidance of Haresh Sharma. The staged reading was held in November 2022 at the Practice Space, The Theatre Practice. It was directed by Sean Tobin. The current version of the script has been edited and expanded based on feedback from the staged reading.
