Cheryl Ho

Cheryl Ho is an award winning Actor, Theatre Maker and Facilitator. She is the Co-creator of newly formed collective MASHH. She works on projects with a focus on Care, Creativity and Inclusion. 

She has worked with Australia's leading Theatre companies like Sydney Theatre Company, Melbourne Theatre Company, Malthouse and ActNow. In Singapore, she has worked with Artwave, The Necessary Stage, Artshouse Limited, Esplanade and more. 

Cheryl’s latest One Woman show, I Am Seaweed, presented by MASHH & Theatre Works, premiered at the Melbourne Fringe Festival 2023 and was nominated for Best in Theatre.

Her previous one woman show she wrote and performed in 落叶归根(Luò yè guī gēn) Getting Home, was awarded 4 awards at Melbourne Fringe 2020 (Best in Theatre, Best Emerging Writer, Best Emerging Producer and New Zealand Tour Ready award), 2 Green Room Awards in 2021 (Performer and Production) and the Scenesavers Best Digital Event at Brighton Fringe Festival 2022.

Alongside Artwave, Cheryl led the creation of an industry-focused exhibition around the growing conversation of work cultures grounded in care. Supported by Somerset Belt and the National Youth Council. Cheryl is currently an Artist in Residence in a collboration between Rainbow Centre and Superhero Me.
