Elliot Wong is a creative writer who is fascinated with narratives. From personal love stories to headlines in the news, he likes to think about storytelling as a function of daily life and how it reflects who we are as people. A film student at NTU, he is currently working on a short film titled, A Kind of Hush, a narrative exploring generational trauma in the context of Chinese New Year. Other notable works include What Are The Odds?, a short public service video crafted for the Ministry of Home Affairs to promote the learning of emergency preparedness skills.
As someone who specialises in and is primarily enthusiastic about film, he is excited to explore the format of the audio drama and delivering a narrative through a different medium. His latest endeavour for C42's open call, Sound Plot: ULU, seeks to explore the effect that Singapore's constant construction efforts has on our natural environment and the price we pay for progress.
