Bada Jabari

Bada’s (mis)adventure in theatre began in secondary school when he first participated in the SYF Drama Competition when he was 15 years old. He has explored all avenues of theatremaking: from stage management, to acting, to critiquing and directing. Bada has worked for diverse projects from English to Tamil language mediums, ranging from text-based to physical, movement based theatre productions as well as script reads. He has performed in Noor Effendy Ibrahim’s Si Ti Kay (2015 & 2017) and Si Woof Woof (2017), Medea (2017) by Cake Theatre, in Esplanade’s PLAYtime! Magic Jungle (2015) amongst other endeavours. He is a dyslexic graduate from NTU, with a major in English Literature and a minor in Drama and Performance. He is a recent Master’s graduate in Information Studies from Wee Kim Wee School of Communication, NTU.
