Ramzie Tahar is a final year student at LASALLE College of the Arts’ BA (Hons) Acting programme, from which they will graduate in May 2025.
They are a core member of a new collective, The Winter Players, which will be putting up their first production, Doctor Faustus, in July 2024. His recent credits also include Sweet Tooth’s We’ll weather the weather, whatever the weather, until we cannot (2023), PlayLab!'s The Travelling Star (2023), STC’s A Monster Calls (2022), assisting Bright Ong's Beast puppet for SIFA X: Oneirism (2022), and Our Space in Time (2021).
Of the many skills learned through a sea of practitioners in school and outside, puppetry holds a special place in his practice and his heart. He dedicates his work to this ocean of theatre practioners who he holds dearly as friends, who have inspired his craft most, and he looks forward to giving back by making and collaborating with them and other local artists.
