Synopsis

Shocking and exciting, ATTEMPTS ON HER LIFE is characterised by playwright Martin Crimp’s vision of contemporary society as a place of social decay, moral compromise and barely suppressed violence.

An interplay of contemporary concerns from politics, terrorism, consumerism t ethnic violence, each of the seventeen scenarios  focuses on the ‘her’ in the title.

But who is she? 
Who is this her? 
Is she a terrorist? 
Is she a star? 
The girl next door?
