Synopsis

Shakespeare’s Othello is a gripping tragedy about love, trust, and the destructive power of perspectives shaped by race, gender and social status. The play follows Othello, a celebrated general, whose passionate marriage to Desdemona becomes the target of Iago’s scheming. Through lies and manipulation, Iago fans the flames of Othello’s insecurity, setting in motion a devastating chain of events that leads to betrayal, violence, and heartbreaking loss.
