Pa is growing old. George, his son, wishes to bring him to Christ, before it is too late. A tender and meditative look at father-son relationships, You Are My Needle, I Am Your Thread explores the slippages of memories, songs, the stories we tell, and what we leave unsaid.
Co-written by Faith Ng and Alvin Lim, this work was first staged at Checkpoint Theatre's What I Love About You Is Your Attitude Problem as part of the Singapore Writers Festival 2015.
You Are My Needle, I Am Your Thread is directed by Chen Yingxuan, and performed in Mandarin, English and Hokkien by Johnny Ng and Neo Hai Bin. English subtitles will be provided.
