Remember My Party – An Adaptation of Virginia Woolf’s Mrs Dalloway
This adaptation of Virginia Woolf’s Mrs Dalloway deals with themes of war and the “feelings of women”, yet nothing is simply one thing. Four characters are brought into the fray of this world – Clarissa, Peter, Sally and Septimus; their internal landscapes colliding and coalescing at a party to remember.
Presented by The Finger Players, the company best known for inventively integrating puppetry into their visually arresting theatrical works, Remember My Party pays homage to the words of Virginia Woolf and her relentless efforts to depict the hypnotic ordinariness of everyday reality.
