Part One - National Language Class - takes as its starting point an iconic 1959 painting of Chinese students learning Malay. As a language lesson unfolds, power is used and abused humorously, inventively and, finally, explosively - while the identities of both performers and audience members unravel and remake themselves in ways that are novel, challenging and fun.
