12 November 2022 – 13 November 2022 @ Centre 42

Synopsis

"In those moments of finality, we stand at a threshold that is at once a point of no return and the point where change and hope can be renewed. These moments seldom scream and shout but are quiet and subtle. It is at the end that “Before You Go” begins."

Before You Go invites us to re-examine the complexities of depression and suicide, to explore the intimate interstitial gaps between hope and despair through this dance-theatre performance.

Initially, presented as a dramatized reading in July 2021, as part of Playwrights' Commune Open Studio 1.0. Now, from 12 to 13 November 2022 experience this multidisciplinary performance crafted by Chong Gua Khee (Director), Danial Matin (Playwright) and Chew Shaw En (Choreographer) with the Cast and Crew, that brings forth a space for us to investigate suicidality with an alternative lens, one that demands vulnerability.
