Synopsis

Kanjooswamy is a diehard skinflint who makes Scrooge look like a reckless philanthropist. His wealth is his lifeblood and getting him to part with even a fragment of it is like pulling teeth from the mouth of an unsedated tiger. The community has aptly christened him The Kanjoos meaning The Miser.

Completely blinded by greed, he is prepared to barter his children's happiness for personal benefit. Chari, his son, is hopelessly in love with Tien Tien and his daughter Priya can't wait to lose her virginity to Victor. Unfortunately the Kanjoos has other plans for them - devious plans!

Jayalolita, Singapore's premier matchmaker, sex therapist and all-round bomb, is desperate to do the impossible - squeeze a buck out of the old skinflint, while Fatty Faiz, Chari's kaki, is determined to help extricate his buddy from the miser's clutches.

Kok, somehow indentured into servitude to the Kanjoos, is a President's Scholar gone wrong and the Kanjoos' secret weapon for all occasions. One of which includes a dodgy deal he is trying to cut with BG Pong, a wealthy businessman.

"Robbery! Rape! Betrayal! You name it, we've had it", in the Kanjoos' own words.

Welcome to a day in the life of Kanjooswamy, purveyor of toilet fittings, ruthless moneylender and Serangoon Road's premier penny pinching vulture!
