The popular bite-sized 10-min play innovated by ACTION Theatre's "Squeeze" series is finally back! Supported by Hewlett-Packard since its first staging in Singapore in 1993, the "Squeeze" series has constantly delighted local theatre audiences with its collection of bite-sized 10-minute plays.
Simply no other production lets one sample the roller coaster ride of adventure, romance, comedy, suspense in one evening for the price of a single ticket. Like a tasty buffet, the series presents plays that are 'fast to see and good to watch'. More importantly, it also serves as a platform to discover new writing talents and motivate others to write for the stage.
Hewlett-Packard is proud to once again lend our support to the "Squeeze" Series. We hope that this combination of writing competitions, playwright workshops, and staging of award-winning 10-minute plays will continue to help our theatrical friends discover new talent and enhance the development of the local arts scene. It is one of our company's goal to build a culturally vibrant environment both inside and outside of our organisation.
