From Heart to Hearts for Hearts (2020) (2022)

From Heart To Hearts For Hearts (2020) was created based on the real-life experience of a young lady, Kylie Boo, who was born with congenital heart disease (CHD). She fights to get the struggles of CHD patients heard through her paintings.

This led to From Heart To Hearts For Hearts, an interdisciplinary film comprises film, theatre, paintings, movement and dance, which portrays the constant breathlessness, emotions and dreams that the CHD patients have been through.

Happy Waiting (2019), Programme

Happy Waiting is an absurdist play inspired by Samuel Beckett’s Happy Days and Waiting for Godot.

Vicky is trapped in a mound, but in a cheerful spirit, only with her limbs and head seen. She enters into a series of memories, imaginations and recollections of stories told by her folks when she was young. Often, she speaks to her husband Victor as she recalls the happy days of their dating and marriage. However, she is not acknowledged with any response.

Mandala, a powerful symbol, is found in cultures across the world, from the swirling&nbsp;Dervish dances of Sufi monks to Hindu Rangoli floor paintings, and European&nbsp;stained glassworks. In Tibetan culture, the mandala aids concentration. The late&nbsp;psychoanalyst Carl G Jung believed that the mandala, as an art form, enables one to understand the inner psyche.&nbsp;
