Bound Theatre

A Primary School student has gone missing. He was last seen at the Dragonfly After-School Care Centre. The online community erupts in wild speculation. Vivien, the chairperson of the centre, is being called a paedophile. Everyone seems to have an opinion and a truth they present. But no two truths align. Screen. Shot. explores how the rapid propagation of fake news on social media can spiral out of control. How should one behave online where social norms seem to differ from real life interactions?

Two people collide again after years apart, and fall head over heels onto the possibility of their ideal love. They have one evening together to float through the drain of old memories and soak in new experiences. After this time frame expires, they must make a difficult choice. We are told to pursue happiness. We are told to do what is morally right. But what happens when we are no longer able to reconcile what society wants us to do and what we want to do?

<p>Established in 2011, Bound Theatre is an independent theatre collective dedicated to devising honest work that explores the contradictory tensions of the human condition.</p>

<p>The Core Team comprises of Juliana Kassim Chan, Yanshan Seet, Wee Jia Yi and Wendi Wee Hian. Together, they strive to create a space in which fellow collaborators can explore and dissect new and exciting ways to tell stories.</p>
